NatureServe Network Directory
This searchable directory includes contact information for NatureServe, NatureServe Canada, and all our network member programs in the United States, Canada, and Latin America.
The 81 member organizations of the NatureServe network collect and analyze data about the plants, animals, and ecological communities of the Western Hemisphere. They are the leading source of information on the precise locations and conditions of at-risk species and threatened ecosystems in their jurisdictions; NatureServe consolidates and disseminates that information for use at regional, national, and international scales. Staff throughout the network are experts in their fields, and include some of the most knowledgeable field biologists and conservation planners in their regions.
Using the Directory
- Click on a link at left to search for individuals (staff directory) or organizations (program directory)
- Hold “Ctrl” or “Shift” to select multiple items from a drop-down list. Important: to return results from any of your selections within a list, also select the last list item, “Select to match ANY; unselect to match ALL” (ANY = or, ALL = and). E.g., to find anyone who is either a botanist, ecologist, or both, select [Botanist + Ecologist + Select to match ANY …]; to find everyone who is both a botanist and an ecologist, select [Botanist + Ecologist] and leave the last item unselected.
- Sort your search results using the column headers
- Hover over the icon (person for staff, building for programs) for address information
- Click "view" on a record to see a single-page display; from that single page, you can click any field to create a new search based on that field
